ok,so there's this thing called formspring, where you ask someone a question.it can be any question kinda thing. so i ask terence then from joyce and the boys and also from if you're happy and you know it clap your hand.i asked him this question

advice on someone who has the passion to dance but unsupportive parents?

and this is what he replied me

wow i finally got the answer this. Formspring was down for a few days! or am i the only 1 whose FS was down. Ok wow..passion is a really really strong word so i try not to use it often lol but I really think if you really really love something. like REALLY really love it. Even if your parents are not supportive about it, you would just keep doing what you love till the day they see your love for it and maybe then they could understand. it really depends. some parents might think dance isnt really a career kind of career. they might think you dont make much money and all. but i think the main thing is that you love it. sit down talk to them and tell them this is what you are. what you want to do. i know reality is that you need ALOT of money. but as cliche as it might sound. money doesnt buy happiness. i feel happiness buys wealth.and wealth doesnt need to be a touchable object :). However sometimes maybe your family is in serious need of money that you need to maybe support your family or pay off bills and stuffs. then maybe you should rethink your priorities and take other jobs in your free time. you dont need to stop dancing. you could still dance like twice a week and work 5 times a week. it really depends on the situation i guess. as long you have that love for dance. Nothing is going to stop you. you might even just stop for 3 years and after that when things get better, you find yourself back at something you love so much again. so yea. i think the most important is not to let go of your dreams. if you love it so much. Go for it. i have always stood by the fact that i rather be happy doing what i love and feeling rich in other areas rather than sticking to a job that pays more but deep down youre just empty inside. Just dont give up if you really love it. dont.

he gave me one whole inspirational paragraph!like really i didnt expect him to write on paragraph encouraging.i expected him to say dont stop dancing etc.
but he gave me one pragraph and i was happy cause you can tell he was honest in his opinion and gave the best advice he could.i feel so inspired like i dont wanna stop dancing no matter what even if i have no money and live on the streets,i'll get money by dancing and teaching kids the basic of finger tutting,LOL.

Just dont give up if you really love it. dont. <<<< this sentence made me so determine to not stop dancing and try getting lessons so that i can improve.really inspiratinal.

and i have a formspring too!(:
